i've been lost in the fray and too much life has passed without a name for anything in the world like love or light but still I know what it means more than you could scribble, splatter, slather all askew yeah it's true, don't need none of that mess boo slow, sightless, seldom to retain, cluttering the knowledge in your frame cycling eyes become a strain, don't seem necessary to me everything's a game, it's such a shame to me yeah it's great! i sleep all day and wakeup just to say 'what it do?' have you decided what you're going through?' don't mean to be rude, but it seems like you've always lacked a clue maybe a take a cue, whatever that means to you slow, sightless, seldom to retain, cluttering the knowledge in your frame cycling eyes become a strain, don't seem necessary to me everything's a game, it's such a shame to me

well I don't know what there's left to say but I feel compelled anyway to write this for you what do I need it to do? have strength that I couldn't find clear the baggage left behind admit I was wrong confide in this song i can't help but think most of this was wasted time but you don't seem to feel the same cuz in your mind we're still friends and I just can't pretend that everything is okay it's not like I'm free of fault it's a two way street, after all i just don't feel that you were honest with me when I needed you to be you left me behind multiple times of course, I didn't say I what I meant and now the moment is gone so I'm stuck to writing songs i was obsessed with you in the worst way it seems like you wanted that, too i don't need you

full aggro, red in the face like an animal pacing its cage too feral, in rabid deceit the horror, a sudden retreat may they follow suit and pretend to shun me and leave me to mend i'm so sorry for scaring the souls denying the peace that they hold
4.
listless, awake again static hangs like smoky air dry grounds stuck to cans like old stains on teeth halls lined with other freaks careful not to share a gaze dim orange light carries the road away desolation is all that's present here the flame is in my hand i'll enjoy this - it's all I have listless, yeah, I'm still awake still flies and humming mind far gone but under light infomercials on how to sleep keep me from reaching peace careful not to gaze away careful to stay awake dim orange light carries the road away desolation is all that's present here the flame is in my hand i'll enjoy this - it's all I have in an instant this could all be gone doesn't sound bad to me...

fatigue creeps in, but the bluelight will keep me awake at least for a little while... enough time to get nothing done nights like these tend to feel like they're going to evolve into something more because there must be a purpose for this, there must be seems there rarely is... and yet the search constantly persists, always yearning for more knowledge to condense and apply to life or revelations to get your glimpse of the truth intoxicated, but so devoted to the notion of the greater meaning being revealed orbiting around the nature of reality, the key of existence collides with me just for this moment. it's a bond only we can share the closer I look, it feels like nothing's there now selling apathy kill yourself because you're so happy eat this pill don't work brain too hard turn on the tv believe everything well goddamn, give me a different reason to breathe other than this crumbling fallacy or the concepts and constructs we cling to desperately conceding to limited control as the world unravels grave errors of our way of life all exposed do we care? doesn't matter anymore well goddamn, give me a different reason to breathe other than this crumbling fallacy or the constructs and concepts we cling to desperately let it go letting go the blame is not ours to bear for this dystopia that was cultivated sold as a dream of everything that we need they're lying they're lying because they always will, the cycle never changes

WORDS ON BEHALF OF RK EMPLOYEES:
we present you with "Dotty". it was recorded in a few sessions during october 2020 in the spacement studio of over the counterculture records. however, we were put on retainer and not permitted to resume work on the product until december 2021. RK kept muttering about a "global meltdown" or something. after additional fine tuning we arrived at what is presented here, finally.
